Facilities painting parking lot curbs
Facilities Services will paint the curbs in campus parking lots during August. One change you will notice is that curbs in the lots designated for faculty/staff no longer will be painted green. Gray paint will be used to cover the green in an effort to blend with the concrete and create a consistent look throughout the campus in faculty/staff lots.

Please note that all areas currently designated for faculty/staff parking will remain designated as such; the curb color will not change this designation. For more information, contact Freddy Orozco at or 278-5242.

Security quick tip
If you receive an email from “” saying you should reset your password – and supplying you a link to the site to change it – should you do so? No!

This is a classic “phishing” technique in which attackers attempt to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as passwords, by disguising the request as an official communication. A way to confirm that the email is legitimate is to manually type the link address into your browser. If the address does not work, then it is fraudulent. The hidden URL will send you to a site where the information you enter can be stolen. If you received an email such as this, DO NOT REPLY.

Please forward this and any other suspicious emails to
