What Happens After Orientation?
Check-out the library quad during the first two weeks of classes. Many student clubs and organizations will be looking for new members.
Below is a list of what students should do following Orientation:
Register for Classes - Students register for classes during Orientation. Late registration begins on January 12, 2015.
Pay Registration Fees - After registering for classes, students must visit their My Sac State account to check their Student Center for account information. Students MUST pay their registration fees during the period indicated. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of registered classes. If students filed for financial aid (loans, grants, work-study), they should contact Financial Aid or visit their website for additional information. Students can check their award status on My Sac State.
Purchase a Parking Permit - Parking permits can be purchased at an additional charge when paying registration fees. Students can also purchase parking permits at the Student Financial Services Center in Lassen Hall or the University Transportation & Parking Services (UTAPS) office in Folsom Hall. Daily passes can be purchased in designated parking lots for $6. For Residence Hall permits, call UTAPS at (916) 278-7275.
