Steve Boilard
Executive Director
Steve joined the Center in 2012 after 14 years with the California Legislative Analyst's Office, directing the office's work in higher education policy. Prior to his work at the LAO, Steve spent five years as a professor of government. He has also worked as an analyst at the state Department of Housing and Community Development, and served as an intern in Sacramento and Washington, D.C.
Steve holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.A. in Government from Sacramento State University.
