Claire A. Bunch,
Outreach Coordinator/Special Projects

Ms. Bunch has a B. A. in Anthropology from CSU Fresno and worked at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. and CSU Fresno. In 1998, Ms. Bunch joined the Center as the program assistant for the Executive Fellowship Program and later for the Judicial Administrative Fellowship Program.

As the Fellows Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Bunch is primary responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing an annual outreach effort to insure that each of the Capital Fellows Programs has an applicant pool of sufficient quality, size and diversity to meet the standards of the Center and CSU. Fellow outreach is a multifaceted task that includes preparation and distribution of outreach materials, campus visits throughout California, use of paid and unpaid media, and coordinating with the Center's partners in the state's executive, judicial and legislative branches. As Special Projects Coordinator, she is primary responsible for organizing the Center's annual Envisioning California Conference as well as other Center conferences and forums.
