The California Debt and Investment Advisory Commission (CDIAC)  has requested assistance from the Center for California Studies at California State University, Sacramento to develop a theoretical model of bond defaults by municipalities. This study has been awarded to Dr. Matthew J. Holian, Department of Economics, San Jose State University and Marc D. Joffe, Principal Consultant, Public Sector Credit Solutions.

Assessing Local Agency Bond Default Probabilities 

The Governor’s Office of Planning and Research has requested assistance from the Faculty Research Fellows Program at California State University, Sacramento to review state planning priorities. This study has been awarded to Dr. George Jouganatos, Department of Economics and College of Business, California State University, Sacramento.

A Review of the Implementation of California's State Planning Priorities (AB 857) and Opportunities for the Future

The California Senate Office of Research has requested assistance from the Faculty Research Fellows Program at California State University, Sacramento to review the environmental impact of biomass conversion plant approval. This study has been awarded to Professors Thomas Korman and Lonny Simonian, Fire Protection Engineering Program, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
