The LegiSchool Project's
 Summer Civics Institute

Are you a Junior or Senior High School student in the Sacramento area interested in learning more about California’s state government?

The LegiSchool Project’s Summer Civics Institute gives a select number of high school students the opportunity to explore state government in action! The Institute enables students to learn about all three branches of state government while developing practical and professional skills. Students also spend time attending professional workshops and panels, touring state buildings, participating in mock hearings, and interacting with California’s court system.

The LegiSchool Project’s Civic Institute is a two week program that runs from June 18 to June 28. A stipend of $300 will be provided at the end of the program to assist with transportation, parking and meal expenses.
