CAMP Leaders

The CAMP Leaders program is designed to foster the development of CAMP students through peer-to-peer mentoring, professional development, and relationship building. Our ultimate goal is to ensure Leaders’ continuous growth and long term contribution to CAMP and their community while simultaneously creating tomorrow’s leaders.

  • Open to all continuing CAMP students
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Be available for 12-15 hours per week
  • Availability every Friday from 10-11am for training
  • High level of motivation, maturity and commitment
  • Interest in developing leadership skills, giving back to other students and gaining knowledge of on-campus resources
  • Professional development

  • Assist you in your transition from high school to the first year in college
  • Facilitate conversations about academic interest, including declaring a major

  • Assist you in time management
  • Coordinate group study sessions
  • Connect you to various campus resources and organizations
  • Encourage you during difficult times
  • Develop action plans with you to move forward with your goals
