What is The CAMP Scholars Internship Program?
The Camp Scholars Internship Program main purpose is to train the next generation of migrant student leaders. The Internship combines leadership training with technical and practical experience in a yearlong program as an intern in offices such as the State Capitol, U.S. Congressmen offices, U.S. Senate's office, the Mexican Consulate as well as in other non-profit organizations in the Sacramento area.
Mission
To promote and foster the development of CAMP Students through training, professional development, and relationship building. The Scholars Internship Program will place talented CAMP students who have shown great leadership potential. In government, business and nonprofit organizations to prepare them for positions of leadership.
Purpose
The CAMP Scholars Internship Program was created to ensure that young Migrant students develop their personal and professional potential. The CAMP Scholars Internship Program combines leadership training with technical and practical experience during the academic year.

A person with great communication skills is a valuable asset to any company. So if you are a person who is shy to talk in front of people, this would be a great skill to acquire from your internship.
