On Campus Recruitment Program

The On-Campus Recruitment Program enables employers to interview graduating seniors and alumni at Sacramento State. The Career Center acquires six private interview rooms that can be reserved during the recruitment season. The program is managed by our on-line career services management system; Career Connection which is accessible to the recruiter as well as Sacramento State students and alumni 24/7. To get started in the On Campus Recruitment program, please register with Career Connection.

Fall Recruitment Season

October 12 - December 4

Companies may pick a date during our recruitment season to interview on campus at our Career Center.

Employer must be interviewing for existing job vacancies and candidates who have received a Bachelor's or Master's degree before August 2010.

How do students sign up to interview?

Employers who recruit at CSU, Sacramento must adhere to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Conduct.

Recruitment Policies

Recruitment Policy
Career Center services are available to bonafide organizations offering professional career opportunities requiring a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Organizations requiring a monetary investment from candidates are excluded from participation in the On-campus Recruitment Program. Third party recruiters and staffing companies are equally excluded from participating in this program.

Pre-Select Policy
Open to graduating seniors and alumni that graduated within six months from Sacramento State who meet the company's recruitment requirements and, secondly, to CSU sister college alumni. The standard interview schedule consists of twelve 30-minute interviews, two 15-minute breaks, and one hour for lunch. Interviews begin at 8:45 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. Please note on the Recruitment Information form if you have a change in schedule outline (45 or 60min). The Career Center hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy
Companies that cancel within 24 hours of their recruitment date are required to contact the students on their interview schedule and reschedule appointments at their office. Companies that are a no-show for their on-campus recruitment day also are required to reschedule appointments and will be placed on a "holding pattern" for the following semester. Companies that are a last minute cancellation will only be allowed to interview on campus on a "space available basis only" for the following semester.
