Who Can Participate in the Interviews?
All candidates must be Sacramento State students or any CSU alumni who have graduated within two years.   They must also meet all for selections of the screening criteria: Major, Graduation Date, GPA, and Work Authorization in order to sign up for a slot.

Candidates Must Have a Career Connection Account
All sign up’s are done through the online computer system Career Connection.  Student must have access to the internet and obtain an account with Career Connection.   If they do not have an account, please have them go to our website and register.  Alumni will have to go to contact the Career Center to verify graduation dates.   

Candidates Must Attend a Mandatory Workshop
For Sacramento State students or alumni to participate in interviews for full time positions, they must attend a mandatory workshop given by the Career Center.  This workshop will explain how to sign up for interviews online and give instructions of how to best prepare.  Workshops are held weekly in various locations.  They can RSVP on Career Connection.    

Open and Pre-Select
This is an open schedule in which students may sign up based on the screening criteria you have selected.  A student must meet all for selections of the screening criteria: Major, Graduation Date, GPA, and Work Authorization to sign up for an interview.

We do not have full pre-select schedule.  If you would like to have a partial pre-select schedule please contact Eva Gabbe at gabbeef@csus.edu right away to modify the computer system.   We do not use the online system for pre-select although you can use it as a selection tool by clicking on the “waiting list”.

Waiting List
Interview times will be first come first serve.  Once all the slots have been filled, candidates will still be able to submit a resume and be placed on a waiting list.  If a candidate drops out, an automatic e-mail will be sent out to all the waitlisted students.
