What does it mean to "Find YOUR Green Focus"?
That's a great question.
In defining green we are broadly referring to the natural environment and efforts to keep the planet around for future generations. The terms you will hear include sustainability, renewable energy sources, preservation, conservation, and climate change -- but now they are becoming used more often in workplace environments as businesses are being held to more sustainable business practices.
Pursuing a career in the green economy ("Finding YOUR Green Focus") is as varied as today's ever changing environment and economy. But, it is a growing economy, one that will affect us all, and one that will draw on the skills that students are acquiring in ALL of the majors/degree programs at Sac State.
