Steps to Sign Up for On-Campus Recruitment

• Be an eligible senior, graduate student, or alumni (view OCR eligibility)
• Sign up for Career Connection (view Career Connection webpage)
• RSVP for Mandatory OCR Orientation Workshop on Career Connection
• Attend Mandatory OCR Orientation Workshop
• Upload your resume onto Career Connection
  Note: the Career Center will have to approve your resume before you can begin using it so upload your resume at least 1 business day before interview sign-ups.

  On-Campus Recruitment Tips

• Be sure your Career Connection academic profile is updated and completely filled out . Check to make sure that the following fields are accurate and complete:
  • Year in School: you will not be able to view or RSVP for the OCR Orientation Workshops unless you are a senior, graduate student, or an alumni
  • Graduation Date: This is used as screening criteria for OCR Interviews
  • Overall and Major GPA: This is used as screening criteria for OCR Interviews
  • Citizenship Status: This is used as screening criteria for OCR Interviews
• Get your resume critiqued by a walk-in counselor at the Career Center before your upload it
  • Walk-in counselors are avaliable at the Career Center Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm .
  • View example resumes to use as a guide when you create your resume
  • You may upload multiple resumes onto Career Connection, so you may have many different versions of your resume on your Career Connection account
• Research the company you want to interview with before the interview. Look on their website for their mission, program areas, position information, etc.
• On the interview date, dress professionally and bring copies of your resume on resume paper.
• After the interview, send thank you letters to each of the recruiters that interviewed you.
