Career Counseling
The Academic Advising and Career Center offers career counseling services for College of Education students in the Academic Advising and Career Center, Lassen Hall 1013 on a drop-in basis. Follow-up appointments are also available. Spring 2013 drop-in hours are offered Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Services include:
- Finding internships, volunteer experiences or part-time jobs
- Developing resumes and cover letters
- Practicing interviewing skills and techniques
- Exploring career options by major and/or concentration
- Choosing/changing a major and/or career path
- Learning job search strategies
- Using Career Connection (online job listings)

Educator Exchange
February 15, 2013, 12 - 3 p.m.
University Union Redwood Room
Join us for an interactive panel discussion and networking session with local leaders in the education field as they discuss strategies and tips to give aspiring educators a competitive edge in their job search and careers. Panelists will provide invaluable information that you will not read in a textbook or hear in a classroom. If you are interested in working in the education field, you need to attend this event!

Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy is working in collaboration with the Career Center to place Sacramento State students in tutor positions.
