MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS

The Master of Science in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MSBA/MIS) program prepares students for specialized professional careers in developing and managing computer-based information systems. This 30-unit program is designed to accommodate students who have an undergraduate background in Management Information Systems. Students who do not have an academic foundation in information systems may participate in the MSBA/MIS program after taking the Program Prerequisite courses.

  • [3] MIS 294* CO-OP in Mgmt Information Systems (Two of MIS 214, MIS 216, MIS 217, or MIS 219 and minimum CSUS GPA of 3.0) OR
  • [3] MIS 295* Internship in Mgmt Information Systems (Two of MIS 214, MIS 216, MIS 217, or MIS 219 and minimum CSUS GPA of 3.0)

* To substitute work experience for this requirement, and replace it with an elective, the student must submit an Action Sheet with documentation to the MIS Faculty Advisor.
