Information Resources & Technology (IRT for short) is the newest division at Sacramento State. The creation of this new division acknowledges the strategic importance of information technology to all campus units. Planning for information technology is woven into the fabric of nearly all university functions, acting as a transformative element that supports nearly all campus strategic priorities and initiatives. IRT is a service and support organization that works with other divisions to a) support excellence in teaching and learning; b) improve the quality of the student experience; c) enhance administrative productivity and quality; and d) use technology to enhance personal productivity.
