Dr. Elizabeth Watson is the Director of the Institute for Study of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ISADR) and Executive Director of the Center for the Resolution of Environmental Disputes created by the California Legislature in 1991. Dr. Watson holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Rutgers University and is a professor of Sociology at Humboldt State University. Over the past 22 years she has taught courses in social theory, conflict resolution, and family and gender studies at University of Redlands, Trenton State College, and Rutgers. She is trained in mediation, negotiation, and facilitation.
