Katie Cox

Katie Cox joined the Center for Collaborative Policy as a Public Outreach Coordinator in August 2008 and has worked on projects ranging from Emergency Management and Homeland Security to Environmental Policy and Flood and Water Management. Katie has assisted in the facilitation and planning of a wide range of projects including: the CA Water Plan, Central Valley Flood Protection Program, CA Senior Leader’s Summit, Public Safety Radio Strategic Planning Committee’s Report to the Legislature and the Bay Area Urban Area Security Initiative’s Volunteer Management Plan. Her clients include Department of Water Resources, California Water Boards, California Emergency Management Agency and many other federal, State and local agencies.

Katie graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Journalism where, as a Senior Producer, she wrote and produced feature stories for the Golden Gate [X]press.
