Katie Cox

Katie Cox joined the Center for Collaborative Policy as a Special Consultant in August 2008 after graduating from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Journalism.  She worked on the San Francisco State [X]Press online newspaper where she became a Senior Producer specializing in multimedia production.  She plans to pursue a Masters in Public Policy and Administration at California State University, Sacramento.

Katie currently specializes in interoperability, emergency management and homeland security projects at the Center.  She assists in the facilitation of meetings on several projects such as Public Safety Radio Strategic Planning Committee (PSRSPC), California Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee (CalSIEC) and Alert and Warning. Her tasks include public outreach, event coordination, note taking and agenda tracking.
