Mindy Meyer, Assistant Facilitator, joined the Center for Collaborative Policy as a Special Consultant in 2008. She is currently working on a project with the State Personnel Board and the Department of Rehabilitation designed to improve access to State employment for people with disabilities. The project is called "Creating Inclusion: The State as a Model Employer for Persons with Disabilities. Let’s make a Change!"
For the past 15 years she has worked in a range of community development areas including affordable housing, workforce and economic development, and youth development. Mindy’s areas of expertise include collaboration, community organizing, program development, strategic planning, facilitation, teambuilding, and leadership development. She has work experience in the public, private and nonprofit sectors as a consultant, project manager, and executive director.
Mindy lives in Venice, California, serves on the Board of Directors for the Venice Community Housing Corporation, and is the appointed chair of the Affordable Housing and Tenants Rights Committee for her local Council Office. She graduated from Antioch University with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management in 2007.
