Tyler Block

Tyler Block is an Assistant Facilitator at the Center for Collaborative Policy (CCP). He joined CCP as a part time special consultant in May of 2006 while attending the University of California, Davis. He earned his Bachelor's degree with a double major in English and Italian in June of 2007.

As an assistant facilitator Tyler’s duties include meeting design, agenda development, small group facilitation, and project support to lead mediators and facilitators. His work primarily falls under the Emergency Management and Homeland Security program area. He has participated in many policy discussions that bring together stakeholders from the federal, state, local, and tribal sectors. The scope of his projects includes public safety radio policy development, statewide volunteer management coordination, statewide alert and warning systems coordination, the Governor’s Emergency Operations Executive Council (GEOEC), and the Senior Leaders in Emergency Management Statewide Summit series. He has also worked at the county level on water issues related to Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta legislation. Tyler also works part-time as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
