Tina Chen, Graphic Designer

Tina Chen joined the Center in 2005 as an Administrative Support Coordinator and became the Center’s primary graphic designer in June 2011. Tina specializes in print design, infographics, illustration, and graphic recording. Tina brings a diverse set of skills and experiences with a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from California State University, Sacramento and a minor in Business Administration. She has 4 years of graphic design experience, over 10 years of project management, financial, customer relations experience, and is fluent in Mandarin.

Since 2007, Tina has provided her design expertise to projects such as Census 2010, 2009 California Water Plan, California Landscape Conservation Cooperative, South Bay Salt Ponds Restoration Project, Santa Rosa Plain Groundwater Initiative, Lower Yolo Bypass Planning Forum, and Office of Patient Advocate.

Tina also volunteers with Asian Resources, Inc. and the Council of Asian Pacific Islanders Together for Advocacy and Leadership (CAPITAL) on community based projects such as the California Redistricting API Forums and the API Leadership Summit.

Tina’s clients include the Department of Water Resources, California Emergency Management Agency, Governor's Office of Planning, Office of Patient Advocate, California Landscape Conservation Cooperative, Department of Fish and Game, CaliforniaVolunteers, Bay Area Urban Security Initiative, Bay Area Joint Venture, Coastal Conservancy, California Ocean Protection Council, Yolo Bypass Planning Commission, Delta Conservancy, Resources Agency, American Society of Public Administration, Napa County Housing Authority, City of Novato, City of Sonoma, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Sacramento State, Cal EPA, Department of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, US Forest Service, California State Water Board.
