Associate Director Dave Ceppos
David Ceppos has advanced expertise in developing consensus based, stakeholder-driven, resource management processes. Dave also has considerable management and field experience in watershed planning, ecological assessment, hydrology, hazardous waste management, and habitat restoration. Dave thoroughly enjoys working with agencies and stakeholders on complex planning efforts. He frequently works on projects in the Bay Delta and on water use efficiency and water quality issues. Recently, he conducted a training on conflict and negotiation for Caltrans and is conducting an issue assessment on the Tijuana River. Dave received a B.LA. in landscape architecture from the University of Florida, Gainesville, in 1985 with an emphasis in Environmental Planning post-graduate studies in environmentally related behavior. He is a member of the International Association of Public Participation, the Society of Ecological Restoration, and the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is recognized by the US Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution as an Approved Dispute Resolution and Consensus Building Professional on their national practitioner roster. Dave enjoys camping and other outdoor activities. He lives in Davis with his family.
