Advisory Committee

Community Engagement Center is a division of Academic Affairs. Our mission is to facilitate learning and engagement by linking campus and community for mutual benefit. To realize this mission, Community Engagement Center serves as a facilitative partner and resource for faculty, students, staff, and community. We build and promote community engagement through thoughtful, intentional collaborative partnerships within and between the University and communities partners in the Sacramento Region.

We see the various aspects of engagement - community service, service learning, and civic engagement - as existing on a developmental continuum where students can develop individual and collective skills and knowledge.
