During Alternative Break spring 2014, 45 Sac State students volunteered 268 hours over the course of one to five days, serving local Sacramento communities and non-profits.

Thursday, March 27
20 volunteers removed plastic tubes that were in about 200 trees as well as cleaning the weeds around them.

15 volunteers did a whole lot of heavy lifting picking up the grounds, demolishing old structures, and preparing lumber to be used for this horse rescue and rehabilitation facility's upcoming barn building project. View Photos >>
