During Alternative Break winter 2011, 40 Sac State students volunteering over the course of one to four days, contributed a total 370 hours of service to local Sacramento communities and non-profits.

Twelve studens joined Harvest Sacramento volunteers in volunteers in picking and boxing fruit from residential fruit trees in local Sacramento neighborhoods. Approximately 1500 pounds of fresh fruit was gleaned and donated to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS). View Photos >>
