Alternative Break Logo

Sac State students - get involved by participating in an Alternative Break. Team up with other Sacramento State students to work on local projects throughout the week with organizations such as the Sacramento Zoo, Sacramento Tree Foundation, Center for Land Based Learning and Habitat for Humanity. Students commit to one to four day-long service projects, usually 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Each day, two student Team Leaders guide the activities and serve as the main point of contact for the community partners when on site.
