Monday, September 15 - Friday, September 19, Register to vote, Library Quad: "Register to vote and have your voice be heard". Voter registration and education with copies of the Constitution.

Tuesday, September 16, 12:00 pm, Library Quad: Army ROTC presents a flag ceremony and public reading of the Preamble of the US Constitution.

Tuesday, September 16, 1:30 pm,, UU Redwood Room: “Finally Equal”. Stuart Gaffney & John Lewis plaintiffs in the CA lawsuit for equal marriage rights for same-sex couples will present the issues and discuss their experiences. “Muni to the Marriage” filmed by Gaffney as he and Lewis rode to San Francisco City Hall to be married on 2/12/04 will be screened. In the film, Gaffney reflects on the difficulties experienced by his Chinese-American mother and white father more than 50 years ago who were only able to marry when CA’s law against interracial marriage was overturned in 1948.

Tuesday, September 16, 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm, Amador 308
Congress and the Constitution: The Founders' Intent: An open seminar discussing the constitutional origins of Congress's powers and responsibilities. The talk will also include some of the distinctions between explicit and implied powers.

Wednesday, September 17, UU Round Table Pizza Patio, 2:00 pm:  ASI Political Mixer. Come and establish political networks here on your campus. Enjoy some food while you socialize talk politics.

Thursday, September 18, UU Ballroom, 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 7:00 pm: Screenings of the movie "Car of the Future", a documentary following NPR's "Car Talk" hosts as they travel the world to find out what is being done now to keep cars running in the future  Followed by panel discussions on environmental, social, and political issues at 11:30 and 8:00 p.m.
