Welcome to the Community Engagement Center (CEC), formerly known as the Office of Community Collaboration! We began in 1996 with a handful of faculty, community partners and students. Today, more than 50+ faculty, 2500+ students and 300+ community partners work together to provide Sac State students with community-based learning opportunities through Service Learning, community service and Academic Internships. The overarching goal of the CEC is to facilitate campus and community partnerships that make a difference in the lives of our students and the Sacramento region.
