Graduating? Wrapping up your semester? Downsizing or on the move? Many students have extra supplies that they didn't use or no longer need - Community Engagement Center's Sac Pack Drive helps students of all ages "re-home" new and gently used school/art supplies for the benefit of youth in need through local non-profit organizations. (See our donation wish list.)
While donations are accepted year round, Sac Pack Drive features a campus-wide donation drive at the end of fall and spring semesters.

Final deadline to drop off supplies for Spring drive is May 23, 2014 at 12:00 pm.
If you would like us to pick up the donations from your on-campus location, please contact Community Engagement Center at (916) 278-4610 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least three business days before to schedule a pick up time.
Become a sponsor
During our spring drive, Community Engagement Center collaborates with campus clubs and organizations to maximize our ability to reach and recruit potential donors. Sponsorship is as easy as hosting a collection site and promoting the drive. If you or your Sac State club or department would like to sponsor a collection site, we ask that your organization provide a means of collecting the donated materials (a box, bin, or other suitable collection receptacle), and email us the following: where the collection receptacle is located, whether it is available for public drop off or just to your members, and who will be the main point of contact for your group (name, phone and email).
We are also looking for student clubs who are interested in sponsoring collection days in the University Union. Please contact us for more information.

All participating Fall Drive sponsors will be included in the Most Supplies Collected Competition. Donations must be turned in to Community Engagement Center no later than noon, May 23, 2014, to be considered.
Community Engagement Center will select the Best Decorated winner based on photo submission. To participate in this competition, sponsors must submit a picture of their collection receptacle to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon, May 5, 2014 at 12:00 pm.
A Facebook Favorite will be selected from the sponsoring organization whose photo receives the most “Likes” on our Facebook. Voting will run from May 5 - May 16, 2014.
Winners of these friendly competitions will be notified by June 2, 2014, and will be recognized in online and print promotions for their service and hardwork.
