What are Classrooms Like?

There is a wide variety of classrooms at Sac State. Professors hold classes in all kinds of interesting locations. Not only will you find yourself in lecture halls and laboratories, you will have classes in small seminar rooms to help you collaborate in small groups. You might be taking water samples along the American River or welding a vehicle frame in an Engineering lab. Other types of classrooms include theater, dance and music halls. You might even find yourself in a place that resembles a hospital.

Another big advantage for you at Sac State is participating in an internship or Co-op (cooperative) opportunity. Through these programs, your classroom will be a real world work setting where you can obtain practical, hands-on experience while enhancing your resume. Learn more about internships and Co-op opportunities at our Career Center website.
