Getting Involved in Clubs and Organizations

Sac State has more than 300 clubs and organizations that you can join. You can choose among a variety of clubs, including fraternities and sororities, sports, cultural or religious clubs, just to name a few kinds. If you're interested in developing your leadership skills, you have many options in this area, as well. If you want to take part in student government, you could join Associated Students Inc. (the campus-wide governing body). You could also take part in SO&L's (Student Organizations & Leadership) Leadership Initiative, where students learn to be leaders, planners, and organizers through experiential and educational campus activities. If none of the organizations on campus matches your interests, stop by SO&L to start your own.
