How Much Are Books?
When you come to college, you will need to establish a budget for yourself. Most students will spend around $1,300 on books during the fall and spring semesters combined. So make sure you have around $500 to $800 dollars in your pocket when you come to school so you can buy your first semester's books right away.
Your professors determine which books they will assign. Another option is after you actually register for your classes, check the "purchase textbooks" link in My Sac State to see if your professors have posted a list of the books you'll need.
