As a parent of a soon-to-be college student, it is important to know about the programs and services each college offers. Here are some tips on how you can get to know Sac State better.

1. Check out our website. We have a lot to share with you regarding our 60 undergraduate programs, 220 clubs, support programs and much more. Our website is also a great way to find important dates and deadlines for applying to the university and financial aid.
2. Visit our campus. Covering more than 300 acres, Sac State is located in a residential section of Sacramento. During your campus tour, you will see numerous computer labs with the latest technology, our expansive library, the University Union and our classrooms. With a student-to- faculty ratio of 21:1, our faculty will get to know your student.
3. Ask around. Did you know that one in 26 capital region residents is a Sac State alumnus? Many Sac State grads are working as teachers, law enforcement professionals, and in offices/ departments at the Capitol. In fact, there are many Sac State alumni working on campus.
