Second International Conference on Genocide
October 14-16, 2004.
Ethnic Studies is pleased to announce its Second International Conference on Genocide. Please send one-page abstract with the title of the topic, your institutional affiliation and e-mail address to the Genocide Organizing Committee at the Ethnic Studies Department, California State University at Sacramento, Sacramento, CA 95819-6013. The abstract can be sent via fax at (916-278-5156), or by e-mail, at either kimenyi@saclink.csus.edu or thomasaf @csus.edu. Selected papers from the conference will be published in a book.

M.A. Program in Ethnic Studies

Ethnic Studies Program at Hiram Johnson High School. This academic year, Ethnic Studies, Hiram Johnson High School and Healthy Start have teamed up to create a mutually beneficial, collaborative relation bewteen a university academic department and a diverse local community. The initial project will be an ethnic studies course for ninth grade high school students, which currently has an enrollment of over 100 students.
