Single Subject: Mandatory Orientation

Welcome!! The orientation will be a mix of instruction and community building. The experiences listed below will encompass the orientation. Be sure to bring water and wear clothing that allows you move around and be comfortable.

Thursday, August 25

  • 8:00 am - 10:00 am: Welcome and Single Subject Program Overview
  • 10:00 am - 10:45 am: Expectations for Student Teaching from a Teacher
  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Placement Information/Overview
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: LUNCH (Bring your Own/Campus Eateries)
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Long Introductions by Fundamental Instructors

Friday, August 26

  • 8:00 am - 12:00 pm: Bafá Bafá Cross-Culture Simulation
  • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: LUNCH (Bring your Own/Campus Eateries)
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Conclude Long Introductions
