Spring 2016 Registration Information

For Spring 2016 registration instructions, follow the information below. See specific registration requirements under your appropriate program listed.

Important Details

  • Check your Student Center on MySacState to confirm your enrollment appointment date. Registration announcements were e-mailed on November 16, 2015 to continuing students. New Admits will receive their registration appointment once admitted by the Office of Graduate Studies.
  • Registration information:
    • for Continuing Students registration will begin December 8 2015.
    • NOTE: fees due within 14 days of registering
  • Post-Bachelors (graduate-level) credential students will be allowed to enroll in a maximum of 26 units.
  • If you experience registration errors and are unable to enroll in a course(s) please contact the Teaching Credential staff (contact info listed below). It is important that all HOLDS are cleared so that staff can add you without delays.
  • The core credential courses are NOT published on the Schedule of Classes in MySacState. You must follow the links below to obtain specific registration information.
  • Remember to check your emails daily over the break for important announcements from the Teaching Credentials department AND to visit the Current Student Information Center on the Teaching Credentials website for the most up-to-date information.
  • For those candidates going into their final semester who have tests pending: you may not continue to your final student teaching placement without submitting verification of passing scores. Please notify the department immediately to discuss alternate options.

Multiple Subject

Select specific "Registration Information" based on your CURRENT "Principles of Teaching" Instructor. So, for example if your current Principles of Teaching instructor for this Fall 2015 is Ms. Lana Daly, you would click the "Registration Requirements" next to her name.

Single Subject

Below is the Single Subject Schedule of Classes. Please register for all Core Courses, select specific sections based on your CURRENT instructors for this Fall 2015 semester. PE candidates should register for the PE Seminars (KINS 198A and KINS 198B) and PE Student Teaching (EDTE 471A and EDTE 471B). Also, register for the Core Secondary Methods course in your subject area.
