TEACH Grant Program

Steps to Follow

To begin the application process for the TEACH Grant Program, follow these steps carefully:

  1. Determine initial eligibility.

  2. Attend an information session. (See below) You must RSVP for these dates.

  3. Apply for financial aid at the Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) web site (unless already applied).

  4. Complete initial online counseling at the Department of Education's TEACH Grant Program web site (you must have your FAFSA personal identification number–PIN–in order to complete the counseling requirement). You may wish to wait until after attending an information session to complete your online counseling. Be sure to print the proof of completion form from your TEACH Grant online counseling session.

  5. After completing steps 1–4, Elizabeth will notify the Financial Aid Representative Rofiah Abdol, if you are eligible and have met the orientation requirement.

  6. Once eligible has been confirmed Financial Aid Representative Rofiah Abdol will set up a one on one appointment to discuss the Teach Grant awarding. If you have any questions regarding teach grant awarding you may contact Rofiah Abdol at

Information Session

After determining whether you believe you are eligible for the program, interested students should attend an information session overviewing the TEACH Grant Program.

You must RSVP for the information session using the RSVP Form below.

Information Sessions:

  • Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 3pm - 4pm in Eureka Hall 223
