- Graduates are encouraged to remember that this is a time when the graduating class and the University are being observed by our most important public: Your family and friends. Sacramento State students and alumni have a tradition of high standards. This final official ceremony should reflect that tradition with dignity.
- Allow ample time to get to ARCO, park and assemble. Ceremonies will start promptly at the designated time.
- BE PREPARED—There is an $10 charge for parking as for any other public events at the arena. Please inform ALL family and guests of the parking fee.
- Graduates should enter the arena through the Security Entrance (through the staff parking lot).
- There are no provisions at the assembly area to leave coats, purses, or other valuable personal belongings.
- Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- For safety reasons balloons, Silly String, fireworks and beach balls are prohibited.
- All graduates are required to remain seated until all names have been called and the recessional of the platform party has ended. Graduates will exit together from the front toward the back by rows up the middle aisle.
- Ceremonies will last up to two hours.
- After the ceremonies, graduates should plan to meet family members and friends immediately outside.
