The Commencement ceremony is Sacramento State’s official academic ceremony where the President confers degrees. To make sure that your family and friends are there to celebrate your achievement, please see the Commencement schedule.

Ceremonies are held on Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16. They will be held at Golden 1 Center.

Graduates are to arrive one hour prior to their ceremony.

Commencement runs from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

10:30 a.m. graduates arrive and doors open to the public.

Graduates are expected to be present for the duration of the ceremony.

Commencement runs from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
