The work of the Advisory Board includes:

Recommending and providing guidance in the long-term direction and goals of the Cooperative Education Program, providing advice on the adoption of new initiatives, and providing assistance in implementing the external community's role in the Program.

Assisting the Program in identifying and contacting public and private funding sources.

Providing linkages with public and government agencies, private industry, and other constituents in the community and promoting the goals and services of the Cooperative Education Program.

Assisting in the development of Cooperative Education job placement opportunities in the community.
