How to Become a Co-op Employer

  • Decide which functional areas would best be served by a Co-op student.
  • Develop student job description.
  • Determine the number of positions and their start and end dates.
  • Determine who will select, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Co-op student(s).
  • Determine the compensation rate for the position. The Co-op staff can offer assistance.
