Job Title: Family Resource Provider
Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Family Resource Provider Manager and Head Start Program Coordinator responsible for ensuring completion of the enrollment process. Assist and support families in attained community resources, employment/job training through the development of Family Partnership Agreements. In association with the Parent Staff Coordinator assist with parent involvement activities i.e. planning/community outreach, transition activities, parent meetings, computer training and parenting workshops.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Development

  • Basic knowledge of children's immunizations

  • Knowledge of low income family challenges

  • A combination of training, education and experience which would provide the knowledge and ability to perform the job description.

  • Ability to work harmoniously and productively with supervisors, co-workers and those you encounter in the course of employment.
Education and/or experience
  • AA in General Education

  • BA in Social Service Field preferred

  • Background in case management experience desired

  • Community Involvement and/or Volunteer Opportunities
Language Skills
  • Bi-lingual preferred
Mathematical Skills
  • Basic Math in order to maintain toy library and reimbursement budget.
Reasoning Ability
  • Logical Thinker with Common Sense
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • TB Clearance within 1 year

  • Fingerprint Clearance/Exemption

  • Health Screening within 1 year

  • Class C Drivers License with no limitations; ability to drive daily if needed
Salary: $9.00-$14.00 Hourly
