Duties: For technical majors, work assignments can be in the manufacturing areas of paint, assembly, plastics, quality assurance, production control, safety, and others.

For non-technical majors, work assignments can be in any of the following departments: Finance, Purchasing, Community Relations, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, Team Member Relations, Personnel, and Training and Development.
 
Important Dates:
  • Co-op is for Summer - Fall 2004 (July - December)
  • Resume Deadline: ASAP

Requirements:
  • Enrolled as an undergraduate student at CSUS
  • Willing to take a semester off, postpone graduation, and work full-time at the NUMMI site in Fremont
  • Graduation date must be no earlier than the end of the Fall 2004 semester
  • Must meet the Co-op eligibility requirements
  • Upon acceptance of an offer, student will be enrolled as a full-time Co-op student for the Fall 2004 semester and will be required to pay the designated fees for the Co-op units

Pay Rate: $18/hour for technical Co-op positions
$15.50/hour for non-technical Co-op positions
Plus: a $500 relocation/tuition allowance is included in the first paycheck.
 
Hours per week: 40 hours/week for a 6-month period
