Sample Thank You Letter

In addition to demonstrating personal courtesy and appreciation, a thank you letter underscores your continued interest in the position. It should emphasize a specific aspect of your background and make direct reference to a topic from the interview or meeting. Thank you letters should be forwarded to the interviewer (s) within 24 hours of your interview. When interviewing with a panel, send each panelist a thank you letter. If you are interviewed a second or third time with the same company, send a thank you after each interview.
