What Can Co-op do for You?

The CSUS Co-op Program can help you to:

  • Gain paid, professional experience in your major before graduation.
  • Increase your marketability.
  • Earn cash (usually pay ranges from $ 7.00-20.00 an hour).
  • Increase your confidence.
  • Network with professionals.
  • Build and design your resume.
  • Prepare for interviews
  • Research an assess companies.

"Most respondents (91.3%) reported that students who have completed a cooperative work experience earn higher starting salaries upon graduation than those who have not. In addition, 60% of Co-op students were offered full time positions with their Co-op employers, with smaller programs faring even more success fully (72.3%) than middle-sized programs (61.2%) or larger programs (47.8%)"
