Mission Statement
The Office of University Counsel at California State University, Sacramento is committed to act with integrity, knowledge of the law, and reason, in support of the dynamic educational environment of the University. It is our function to provide, manage, and coordinate all legal services for Sacramento State, as an institution, to minimize legal risks and costs, and always to do so efficiently, reliably and professionally.
University Counsel
Serves as a campus-based counsel and functions as a member of the University Counsel unit in the Office of General Counsel for The California State University, Chancellor's Office. Has the primary responsibility for legal issues which arise at Sacramento State. Handles personnel and other administrative hearings and manages all CSUS' litigation.Legal Resources
