RCA PROGRAM IN ETHICS

The RCA Community Fund of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation (RCA) has entered into a 3-year partnership with the University to promote ethical practices and behavior within the University and in the broader community. Through its Center for Practical and Professional Ethics and with funding from RCA, the University will offer a series of educational and practical events and activities primarily at the Sacramento State campus. Events will include public speakers and panels, faculty and student workshops, guest lectures for selected courses, student essay competitions and creation of a database of ethics-related material available to University faculty and students and to the public. The program will focus on a variety of ethical issues in business, law, government, media and science/technology with emphasis on a different ethical theme each academic year.
