Democracy and Community Engagement: Ethical Issues in Community Leadership and Civic Participation
Program includes hands-on sessions with local and regional experts to develop strategies for engaging in community development, understanding your role as a member of a community and civil society, identifying the means for making yourself and your community more ethical, responsbile and empowered. These issues will be addressed in the context of educational leadership, journalism/media, ecological and environmental sustainabillty, and race/ethnicity and gender relations.
