Welcome to CSU-LSAMP!

The California State University Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (CSU-LSAMP), with NSF Support, was initiated in 1993 to serve as a comprehensive California State University (CSU) statewide program dedicated to broadening participation in STEM disciplines.

At the time the Alliance was established, it included 16 campuses of the California State University and was gradually expanded to include all 22 full-service comprehensive universities of the CSU. The only CSU campus that is not included is the California Maritime Academy, which is a unique and specialized campus of the CSU. Hence, this project is truly a comprehensive effort of the CSU, the largest system of public higher education in the world, located in the largest and most diverse State in the Nation.
