Advising for Graphic Design Majors

All graphic design majors should meet with their advisors regularly and must do so before they begin their upper division classes. To find out who your advisor is you must go to the Department of Design Office (MRP 5001). Office hours for advising are posted below, but you should check with the office for the latest information.

Transfer Students

Transfer students should meet with their advisors as soon as possible in order to organize their class schedules. On your first meeting you should bring the following:

• Official transcripts
• Printout from www.assist.org
  (listing classes you are transfering)
• Portfolio and/or any samples of your artwork

Graduation Petitions

All graduation petitions need to be brought to your advisor
two weeks
before they are due.
