Gwen is principal of Gwen Amos Design in Sacramento. Along with her University work, she is a founding board member of the Sacramento Consortium of Art & Design Educators and an instructor of graphic design at UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley Extensions. Her work has won numerous awards and her writing has appeared in such publications as Step-By-Step Graphics, HOW and Before & After.

Mario is principal of the White Space Foundry in Sacramento. His client list includes such companies as Ascend Communications, Blue Shield of California, Charles Schwab, Clorox, Del Monte Foods, General Mills, Intel, PG&E, and Sunkist. He's a founding board member of the Sacramento Consortium of Art & Design Educators. He also instructs in the Graphic Design Certificate Program at UC Berkeley Extension.

John, a native of northeast Ohio, worked for several area firms handling creative projects that included print, web, illustration and motion design.

His teaching experience at Kent State University and Cuyahoga Community College covered a wide array of courses including foundation level design, typography, web and motion design.

He has been recognized by the UCDA and the Cleveland Advertising Association with awards of excellence.
John continues to work on a freelance basis with corporate and non-profit clients in Cleveland and Sacramento.

Yuki is principal of Yuki Nishinaka Graphic Design. As an aspect of her studio, she worked with such firms as John Coy Los Angeles, Sussman / Prejza, Shiffman Design and in house at Capital Research Management Company. She has served as project manager / art director / and senior designer. Her experience includes working on environmental / wayfinding systems, print, new media, developing and overseeing brand programs, and grand opening collateral for in store launches. Yuki is currently
focusing on authoring works of creative interests and teaching.

Myunghae received a B.F.A. degree in the field of applied art from Ewha Womens University in Korea. She earned both M.A and M.F.A. degree in graphic design from Iowa State University. She has extensive teaching experience in Korea and the U.S and is currently teaching Design Production and Time-based Multimedia classes in CSUS.

Myunghae has presented research nationally and internationally. Her current research interests are Human interface and website design.

Missy Anapolsky Lecturer

Missy is a principal of Circle Design in Sacramento. Their clients include California Division of Tourism, Pacific Coast Building Products, Sacramento Sports Commission and the California Department of Fish and Game. Circle Design handled all design work for the 2000 Olympic Track and Field Trials in Sacramento, from the logo design to stadium dressing.
Bill Olmsted Lecturer

Bill's background is in corporate communications and advertising, and
he firmly believes that print will be dead around the same time that pigs fly. He has done extensive collateral work for clients in the computer, banking and wine industries throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. Other
clients include; Foundation Health, Pacific Bell, Sacramento Sports Association and the City of Sacramento. Design awards to his credit include honors from the Sacramento Public
Relations Association (the "CAPPIE Award"), Association of College Unions International and HOW Magazine. His writing has anchored regional promotional campaigns for Buehler Vineyards and US Bank.

Jonathan is the principal of Weast & Weast Illustration Studio in Sacramento. His work has won numerous awards from: Print magazine, the Pastel Society of the West Coast, the West Coast Art Director's Show, Potlatch Paper Company, and the International Association of Business Communicators.

E-Commerce industry, Mark now is the principal of 427Design in Sacramento. His client list includes such companies as Blue Diamond, Clif Bar, Campbell's' Soup, Clorox, Del Monte Foods, Foster Farms, Heinz, Nestles, Perrier, Trident Seafood. He currently serves on the advisory board of the ITT Technical Institute. Mark also develops classes and instructs at UC Davis Extension Web/Multimedia program.
